Nap time at 6pm

So Anna apparently decided she didn't want to take her normal 2pm nap today...in fact she cried as soon as I put her in her crib, then about 10 minutes later, she got quiet, but then I heard her bedroom door open. Yep, the day that I had been dreading, she learned how to climb out of her crib. I took her back in there and put her back in the crib and watched her cry some more, then proceed to throw her leg over the side, she used the pillow I had in there to stand on, so I took it out and put her back in. She cried some more, I left her in there long enough to gather up some laundry to go wash and she was still crying so I gave in and let her get up. I probably shouldn't have, but I did. So after 2 trips to the laundry room with her in tow, then 3 trips to the dumpster once again with her in tow (I cleaned out all of my old assignment papers because I don't need them anymore and they were just taking up space) she was tired. But no, she still wouldn't lay down without a fight, so I just let her run and play for a little while and she was starting to whine so I give her her cup and turn on Blue's Clues and lay her in her crib, amazingly she didn't cry, she didn't whine, she didn't try to climb back out. Granted, I'll regret it later tonight when she's up so late since she's taking a nap at 6pm for the first time today...but maybe I'll get lucky and she'll sleep all night...yeah right, I can wish though can't I?
